The Equalizer Review (더 이퀄라이저, 2014)

 The most-watched movie is action. Some people don't like action genre because of the obvious story, but for each movie, various situations and action styles are not the same to me.

 

The Equalizer is a quieter action movie than I thought. Except for the action scenes in the second half, the whole atmosphere seems as calm as the main character. A man has insomnia so he reads at a cafe at 2 a.m. every morning. One day, a girl who came to him and talked to him is abused by the Russian mafia. He tries to help her to get out of a den of darkness.

 

The restaurant scene was also good, where he had a conversation with the villainous actor. The conversation, which tries to penetrate the opponent's psychology, was more exciting than the action scene that chased him with a gun.

It was also persuasive to lure mafia into an environment that he was accustomed to because dealing with many enemies alone was unrealistic. At this scene, I reminded the movie 'Home Alone 2'. Kevin also lured thieves to a place he knew well.

 

It's a movie that makes me want to have a person like the main character around me. The film was produced up to two, but I personally liked the first one better.
