Plan vs No plan

La Laura 2020. 3. 28. 11:14

Human plans and God laughs at it.

This saying often comes to my mind these days. Many things, such as travel, games, tests, gatherings, and performances, are postponed or canceled due to the coronavirus.
I like to make plans. Because I tend to improvise, I need to sort out what I did and what I was going to do.

Song Kang-ho said to his son in the parasite movie, "You have the plans." It was buzzwords in Korea after the movie released. Eventually, in the latter part of the movie, Song Kang-ho tells his son. "A plan that never fails is a plan without a plan. If you don't have any plans from the start, so it doesn't matter what happens."

More and more people are saying that they have no plans these days than before. Some people say they just want to focus on their daily lives because planning is not so easy and it sounds grandiose.
I think it's different for each individual which one will pursue more.

Only one idea has become clear. If there is anything that anyone wants to do, he or she should do it right away or pay it now. Looking back, those choices were things that I had no regrets and I almost couldn't do for many reasons later on. Actually, I was planned to brush my teeth after an hour of yoga but I did it right away. And I could smile even after knowing that the water has unexpectedly been cut off.
