Child and elderly

 If you want to be pure, stay with the child, and if you want to gain wisdom, talk with the elderly.

I heard this saying and believed it is true. 

However, in reality, I realized it is a little bit different.

 

The child asked very often 'why' and the old man is full of 'regret' about the past. Rather, you get to know yourself through the child, and you gain more appreciation for the present through the elderly.
